Extra-Curricular Ensembles
Marching Warriors
Directors: Josh Chodoroff and Andrew Burkemper
The Marching Warriors is an all-volunteer organization that promotes teamwork, dedication, and school-spirit through a unique musical experience. The Marching Warriors perform at all home football games, several local competitions, and two parades each year. Last year, the band represented WVHS in the New Year's Day Parade in London, England. The band has consistantly been a top-ten finalist at Bands of America Regional Championships.
Jazz Ensemble
Director: Tom Tait
The Jazz Ensemble offers the highest quality jazz experience to the most capable players. The Jazz Ensemble performs in seasonal concerts and travels to festivals in Illinois and other states.
Jazz Band

Jazz Band performs in seasonal concerts and travel to festivals in Illinois and other states.
Swing Band
Director: Andy Burkemper
The Swing Band is designed to provide a formative jazz experience and performs at seasonal band concerts and special events.
Jazz Combos I and II
Directors: Andy Burkemper and Josh Chodoroff
There will also be opportunities for interested students to participate in several Jazz Combos.
Percussion Ensemble
Director: Chris Dandeles
Participation in percussion ensemble is limited to percussionists only.
Steel Pan Bands

Participation in the steel bands is open to all music students. |
